Dr. Xiao-yan Sui, a native of China, is an internationally trained pianist and piano educator with professional degrees from China and USA. Xiao-yan Sui received her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Xiao-yan Sui served as a piano faculty member at the Tianjin Conservatory of Music in China. 

Over the decades, her students, both in China and USA, have received numerous prizes and awards in competition and examinations. Many of them have become professional musicians and been pursuing their music career.
